CAM Roofing worked with the homeowners and their insurance adjuster after a severe windstorm tore shingles from the roof, creating enough damage for a full replacement. Our team documented the storm impact, secured approval for a complete tear off, and removed all old shingles down to the decking where we repaired weak and deteriorated areas. The new roof was installed using GAF Timberline HDZ shingles, which provide excellent wind resistance through their LayerLock technology, a stronger seal that helps prevent future blow offs, and enhanced protection against leaks due to improved nailing accuracy and reinforced shingle bonding. These shingles also offer long lasting color, higher durability, and stronger overall system performance compared to standard shingles. The finished result gives the home better weather protection, greater curb appeal, and a much more reliable roofing system, all completed through the homeowner’s insurance with no out of pocket expense.
